Research and development efforts at Nanolight center about two main themes: mid-IR detectors and lasers, with IV-VI materials serving as the common link. These materials are expected to offer increased sensitivy to detectors and lead to high-temperature, long-wavelength diode lasers with ease of tunability. Once fully developed, we expect these devices to be competitive with presently available technology in both technological merit and cost.
Through collaborations with academic and other industrial partners, Nanolight is developing detector focal plane arrays for use in infrared imaging applications and laser diodes for remote sensing applications. We encourage you to explore these topics further, and we welcome you to contact the company with any inquiries.
